Playoff Format for 2020 will be as follows

Division Winners will be seeded (1-3)
Second place teams will be seeded (4-6)
Remaining 2 teams seeded (7-8)

Wild Card Round: 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5. (Best of 3 series.. with all 3 games at home field of higher seed)

Division round: Winner of 1 vs 8 will face Winner of 4 vs 5. Winner of 2 vs 7 will face winner of 3 vs 6. Higher Seeds will have home field advantage. (Best of 5, 2-2-1 Format)

League Championship Round: Winner of the 2 Division Series Matchups. Higher Seed gets home field (Best of 7, 2-3-2 format)

World Series: NL vs AL Champion, Home field goes to the team with the Best Regular Season Record (Best of 7, 2-3-2 format).

So For Example.... this would have been last years AL & NL Seedings if this were implemented in last years playoffs

AL
1. Astros (107-55) AL West Winner
2. Yankees (103-59) AL East Winner
3. Twins (101-61) AL Central Winner

4. Athletics (97-65) AL West 2nd Place
5. Rays (96-66) AL East 2nd Place
6. Indians (93-69) AL Central 2nd Place (Missed 2019 playoffs)

7. Red Sox (84-78) (Missed 2019 Playoffs)
8. Rangers (78-84) (Missed 2019 Playoffs)

and the Wild Card match ups would've been

Astros- Rangers, Yankees-Red Sox, Twins-Indians, Athletics-Rays.... with the teams in bold hosting all 3 Wildcard games

NL
1. Dodgers (106-56) NL West Winner
2. Braves (97-65) NL East Winner
3. Cardinals (91-71) NL Central Winner

4. Nationals (93-69) NL East 2nd Place
5. Brewers (89-73) NL Central 2nd Place
6. DBacks (85-77) NL West 2nd Place (Missed 2019 playoffs)

7. Mets (86-76) (Missed 2019 playoffs)
8. Cubs (84-78) (Missed 2019 Playoffs)

And the wild card match ups would've been...
Dodgers-Cubs, Braves- Mets, Cardinals-DBacks, Nationals-Brewers.... with the teams in bold hosting all 3 Wildcard games

So now here are my predictions for the 8 playoff teams in each league

AL
Division Winners
- Yankees, Astros, Twins
2nd Place Teams- Athletics, White Sox, Rays
7th & 8th place teams- Angels & Mariners.

Not sold on the Indians rotation, also not sold on their lineup outside of Ramirez, Lindor & maybe Santana.

NL
Division Winners- Dodgers, Braves, Cardinals
2nd Place teams- Nationals, DBacks, Cubs
7th & 8th place teams- Mets, Phillies
