It really speaks to Mo’s athletic abilities to remain with the Colts these past few years and actually become an integral part of their team when one of the greatest college football players ever, Tim Tebow, was released from the Jaguars yesterday after attempting to latch on to the team as a tight end. It also doesn’t hurt, as Shaka put it, that Mo won the “genetic lottery.”

Tim Tebow is also 34 and spent his entire football career training to be a QB. He had to much pride to make the position change until he was 9 years removed from the sport.

Tebow also craves attention and cries that he’s being persecuted for his religious beliefs when the media accurately reports his disappointing performances.

That's good to say if you are a Ram but in reality Tebow is 34 and out of the game since he was 26. Mo on the other hand is in his athletic prime and as you say hit the genetic lottery.

Fwiw, if Tebow had put the time in practicing as a TE from the beginning most likely he would have been a very good one. Tebow, Mo, heck JC himself, well may JC, couldn't sit out 8 years and at age 34 come back and make a professional team. Also, maybe Jim Thorpe but the list is very short.

Tebow had his shot, now back to reality.
