I heard this today and I did not know it, but Kareem Jabbar had 1 three-pointer in his career. Plus he did with 4 years in college. Yeah. I knew that last part. UCLA.

Yep. Kareem was incredible. LeBron did it in less NBA games but he did make those 3 pointers to help his cause. I am a LeBrom fan. I respect him as a family man and how he went about his business. I know he has haters that like to create narratives though. Such is life.

Well, if you think about it, they didn't have the 3 pointer when he was in college. Also he had been playing in the NBA for almost an entire decade before they introduced the 3 pointer in 1979. Plus, he was mostly a post player. And, the game was played much closer to the basket during most of his career. Even when they had the 3 pointer from 79' onward, the 3 point shot was not as widely used/attempted as it is today.
