Looks like a pretty challenging schedule. Quality all around. Even the cupcakes aren't very cupcakey (Alabama State is, but Jacksonville State was a top-120 team last season).

Many, not all, of the smaller schools should be in the top half of their respective conferences, so that should provide some quality NET games. I believe North Texas, for example, returns just about everyone from a team that finished .500 in CUSA; they were 21-12 overall. FGCU brings back just about everyone from a team that finished tied for 3rd in the Atlantic Sun. Please correct me on NT and FGCU if I am wrong about both returning most of their players this season.

This seems to be the formula for VCU. Play mostly top teams from smaller conferences at home and schedule a handful of tough road and neutral site games. That works if you struggle to get P-5 schools to play a home & home, which we certainly do.

EDIT: Just as I hit "post", I saw Bracket Forecast's rundown with NET rankings. Forget what I typed above. LOL. Hopefully, those projected Quad 4 teams will end up being better than forecast.
