VCU came out hot and never looked back in A-10 semi-final action today, blitzing the Saint Louis Billikens, 90-78, to earn a spot in the 2023 Atlantic 10 Championship game.
SLU opened the game with a 5-0 run, but from there on the Rams would put on one of their best offensive performances of the season in the win, connecting on 55.7% of their attempts including a red-hot 47.4% from distance. It was a total team effort as well, with five Rams scoring in double-digits and another, Jalen DeLoach, adding nine points for the black and gold as well.
Jayden led led all scorers with 18 points in the win, 15 of which came in the second half as the No.23 Ram looked like another famous 23 at times. Nunn hit all three of his three-point attempts, tying David Shriver’s three on four attempts. Shriver finished with 11 points off the bench for VCU.
