I like a good pancake, but nothing tops a bacon filled waffle.
1. Hot waffle iron
2. apply 3-4 strips of uncooked bacon
3. close iron, cook till desired doneness (I prefer chewy bacon)
4. apply waffle batter into waffle iron over cooked bacon
5. cook waffles
6. plate, and apply butter, syrup and peanut butter......

Thanks dad, for the Saturday and Sunday morning childhood memories
Hold the peanut butter but give me a fresh piece of fried chicken with that waffle please.

85 I'm trying this. Did your dad drain off any of the grease?

Was he even invited? I doubt it.
I don't agree with his exclusion. The banquet is about 98% appreciation for the just completed season & accomplishments. Sean was certainly a part of what the team did. It may possibly have been his choice to not attend. If that was the case, some token acknowledgment of his contribution to the season would've been appropriate.
