They have been in contact with him several times.
Bro, I am not bypassing anything. I grew up a UNC fan and still follow them and Silas himself, just last week, said he has NOT heard from them.....but you are saying they have been in contact with him several times. This is what I am alluding to about the news you post. There's no validity behind it outside of your assumptions.

Do you in the end, but you told us to keep you in check man, haha. When there's something concrete, then post but this ain't it my dude. Anyways, I've said my peace....carry on. Happy Friday everyone.

You keep bypassing GG jackson. Jackson knows demary and dillione; they all played each other over the last several years and keeps tabs in each other's recruiting.

Now the GG is gone. NC has a spot to fill. NC has been in heavy with Demary and Kaiser because they are amongst high rising prosects in this year's summer circuit.

They have been in contact with him several times. If blue bloods are monitoring and have been on contact with a prospect this far into the aau circuit then they watch them in person at peach jam or other big tournaments before pulling the trigger.

Silas just made the all-star team at NBPA at top 100 camp before all the NBA front office personnel, scouts and big time power 5's. He's on the radar. UNC has been calling him

If he continues to show out in July, don't be surprised if UNC offers to fill that slot. Like i said, it's a development to watch for.
UNC has not been heavy with Demary. They haven't offered him. He said (this week) that he is waiting and hoping for the offer. Is it possible that they will at some point? I suppose but they've known about him for ages and haven't to date.

UNC hasn’t offered Demary or Kaiser. Jackson plays a totally different position from those 2 and UNC had several more scholarships to offer whether he decommited or not.

I’m not sure why DL thinks there is any connection between Jackson and these 2 guys. UNC may offer one or both, but it will have nothing to do with Jackson.

@HTTRams! @N Mollen @VCU Heel

I am sorry I stand corrected. You were correct about demary and Carolina. I admitted that i let my own assumptions matriculate into the facts.

Thank you for holding me accountable. I will work on eliminating that from my posts.

Please continue to call me on it. That is the only way I will get better at this..

Again thank you.

5. SILAS DEMARY, 6-4, TEAM CURRY

Demary is a potential big lead guard in the making. He plays both on and off the ball right now, approaches the game with a scoring mentality, and does not yet create a ton of easy scoring opportunities for his teammates, but also is not especially turnover prone either. He is at his best scoring the ball from the mid-range and in. He is extremely shifty to the rim, able to maintain his balance while attacking low to the ground, and a crafty finisher with both hands. Hill pull-up game is a definite weapon and he also uses his body well to draw contact and get to the free-throw line. His three-point range is still inconsistent with a ball that is a little hard and flat, but does not have any other glaring mechanical problems. Defensively, he shows flashes of moving his feet but tends to open his toes too easily when defending dribble penetration.".

That’s not the most glowing commentary after rating a guy that high. LOL

I thought the same thing. Then again...the NBA front office people and scouts voted him one of the top 10 players at the NBPA top 100 camp so...

"Outside of NC State, Demary Jr. said that VCU, St. John's, Tennessee, Georgia and Arizona State were teams recruiting him the hardest. Ironically enough, it's been Joel Justus, a former Arizona State assistant, that has been sitting courtside for nearly every game Demary Jr. has played for Team Curry on the Under Armour circuit this summer.".

"Demary Jr. is currently on a visit to Tennessee for a junior official visit prior to his senior season getting started. With five official visits still available, he said he's unsure where he will take all of them at this time, but he said he plans to take at least an unofficial visit to NC State in August.,".

I think the writer is incorrect here.

Silas has taken OV's to St. John's, VCU, Providence and Tennesee.

I was in and out of this, but about 10-15 mins into it there was some very VCU focused discussion. He seems to hold us very highly in consideration and has appreciated the staff’s early dedication to recruiting him. He also enjoys the fanfare. Listening to him it seems like we got a great chance of him choosing VCU. Seems like a very well-rounded kid. Hope he and Freddie choose VCU!
