Given he says he wants to go somewhere that wins, I think we can more or less rule out State and Wake.

I have NC State connections and I agree State is not a good option as Keatts is on the hot seat big time. The only thing that is probably keeping State in the hunt for some of these players is NIL money. And that's also what's keeping VCU from making some of these final cuts.

Regarding Wake Forest, I think your are undervaluing them big time. Forbes now has that program moving in the right direction.

I would be more worried about Bama, USC and Kansas.

All came into combine academy with multiple coaches to observe Silas this week. Silas and his family are most definitely waiting on a Kansas offer. He's stated it several times and they have been in consistent contact with him.

He has 3 senior open ov's open, I feel like we need him to give us a second visit so we can make our case again in hopes of sealing the deal.

"
At this point, Demary, a senior point guard, is clear on which schools are prioritizing him. He’s fresh off a “great” official visit to N.C. State and has already taken an official to USC.

“I’d say it’s N.C. State, Wake Forest, Oklahoma, St. John’s, VCU and USC who are prioritizing me right now,” Demary says. “Some guys want the schools here on the first day of the recruiting period, but I don’t need that. I do notice which schools are sending their head coaches to see me. They can say anything, but when the head coach actually comes, it’s different. I don’t mind when he comes as long as he comes.”

Southern California head coach Andy Enfield is back at Lincolnton (NC) Combine Academy to see 2023 four-star Silas Demary.

Demary, Jr. is the No. 61 player in On3’s 2023 class rankings. It makes sense coaches would be doubling back to see Demary; he is a top-five available point guard in the country and is still open in his recruitment. This summer, Demary was first-team All-NBPA Top 100 camp. He then averaged 12.8 points, 4.8 assists, and 1.5 steals. He shot 61.8 percent from the field, leading his Team Curry program to a 15-6 record on the UAA Next Circuit.

NC State’s Kevin Keatts and Wake Forest’s Steve Forbes will be joined at Lincolnton (NC) Combine Academy by VCU’s Mike Rhoades and two assistants were all in to watch Demary yesterday. The point guard hosted Wake Forest, Virginia, Southern California, and NC State, along with assistants from Kansas, St. John’s, VCU, Alabama, Clemson, and Memphis last week.

Demary, who hopes to make a November decision has three available official visits.
