Indeed. I think they should add scoreboards in the 4 corners of the Stu. Just saying, Banks hit a shot and I was wondering why he wasn't listed as a player in the line-up at that time, then noticed that we were stuck in time for the rest of the night.

To be fair, more scoreboards would not have fixed last night's issue. It would just mean there would've been more wrong scoreboards.

We tested the boards this morning and they are operating properly again.

Yep, i was just think of future placement of the scoreboards. Aren't we updating/replacing these?

That is the plan, yes. The operations that send data to the boards will probably remain the same or similar. They'll just look nicer.

The in-house feed was better last night. Wish there were more replays but better overall. I'm sure it's a lot easier though to focus on just one production instead of trying to do two.

A simplistic answer is that production trucks include a satellite transmitter and satellite dish. They save space, time and cost of broadcast productions. That is off the top of my head. TV productions const quite a bit of money to set up an in-house system. I think that I have this about right.

I know Minnesota and NC State are replacing their video scoreboards in their football stadiums this off season. I read an article regarding the Minnesota video scoreboard that said the life expectancy of those video scoreboards is about 10 years. Pretty sure Daktronics also confirmed this in the article.
