Mike has been such an essential part of Rams basketball that it is hard to imagine the broadcasts without him. I think Ram Nation is grateful for all he has done for the program; I know I am. I'll be very sorry to see him go.

It's a shame to lose Mike's voice on the air, but hopefully we'll still be blessed by his voice in written form on occasion, and we're lucky to have such an able and eager next-guy-up in Rodney.

I love Rodney. However, I was kind of hoping for some new blood. It'd be cool to see some of the younger folks get the nod.

I believe Doug Brooks is still in RVA. I’d pay good money to listen to Dougie doing the color commentary on Ram Radio for an entire season. Most entertaining 2-4 hours of the week right there, by a long shot!

Mike was one of the best VCU has had in that seat. I would rank him up there with Mike Ellis. Loved his objectivity. Going to miss him big time!
