After thinking about how many fans can't afford to be in Huston, I was wondering how the families of our student athletes affort to travel to see their kids play. When I was in NY, I noticed a fairly small group of moms, dads, siblings in attendance (unless some were sitting someowhere else) Does the NCAA allow the athletic departments to help or are these families on their own?
Like most parents, we want to see our kids participating in activities that they love and enjoy but the thought of being in our MBB players parents shoes right now....that's down-right scarry. Second mortgage on the house to see your kids play.
