Wonder about what? St Joe's has been in the A10 almost since the beginning
Thanks for the catch. I meant to say two of the top 4 teams are recent additions to the A10. I guess I figured the pre Grant era would be more weighted then it appears to be. Also, you would think that stepping up in a stronger conference from either the CAA or Southern would lead to some struggles but it appears that was not the case for VCU or Davidson. Makes me wonder just how much the program matters compared to the conference.

Virginia Tech (left in 2000) - 63
Butler (left in 2013) - 47
Charlotte (left in 2013) - 118
Temple (left in 2013) - 66
Xavier (left in 2013) - 25
Big difference in ranking, 6th instead of first, even though theoretical.

there isnt any question that the conference aint what it used to be. nature of conference reshuffling.
Just reasoning why we have not struggled moving up from CAA. Stronger but not overwhelming considering the teams that left. We are 27-15 all time against UNC-C and 16-14 against the other 4 teams that left.

You know what else I noticed? If VCU swapped spots with St. Louis, we'd be sixth in the A10 as well. Or is it fifth?
