This was my concern expressed multiple times with folks in my area over the last 3 minutes or more of the game. Vince was hanging on the perimeter and not moving and we also were not doing anything to get him the ball. His only touches were way out top to swing the ball. I don't think his man could guard him when he attacked, so I wish he had used that opportunity late / been given that opportunity
I agree I dont think his defender could guard him. He is also a good free throw shooter. I would have iso'd him at least a couple of times down the stretch.

The one call I wish had gone our way was when that same bad referee called the foul on the floor - not an and-one. Vince Williams got bumped driving to the lane, on replay the referee doesn't raise an arm or go to blow his whistle. Gets bumped again as he jumps to shoot a layup, ref's arm raises and whistle is blown as the ball goes in. Calls it on the bump 1 second earlier. Could've used those 2 points and the potential FT.

I forgot about that one! I know it was in the second half, but when exactly did that happen?

Two points in the final 5:23, 9 for 21 on layups, out-rebounded 32 to 20, two second chance points vs their ten & two lane violations that turned into points for them. It was disheartening to watch seven consecutive empty possessions in waning moments after VCU rallied from a 10-point second-half deficit to seize control. That is all I really have to say about it because I hate it.
easy there hoss, Davidson IS pretty good this year. try the glass half full look, yes we did bounce back from double digit leads twice ! and we lost by 2 to a very good, very well coached team. its no like we lost to Fordham for goodness sake !

For once I am sitting here agreeing with something DL is saying, because doing this might have actually won us the game, or perhaps tied it, during the last 10.1 seconds.
DL is 100% right. 4 guard is not a winner for us. take advantage of this first ever size advantage for goodness sake !

THAT was some pure D BS right there a technical should have been called.
It looked like the bench was treating a blood situation on Lee. Normally you would need to take the player out if it took three minutes or so to treat the wound, but instead they get a free time out. Add this one to the "hook and hold review" time out and they got some extras.
(Wrong post, the reply is to the original one on the extra time out.)

I am surprised that Bre didn't interrupt the boos, but there was no TO.

The fact that Loyer could complain about a foul called on him saying Ace had held him, and the ref. would agree to review the call was a prime example of inexperience.
I was thinking that kind of arguing with the ref would lead to a technical foul rather than the ref agreeing to review the call.
