My only opportunity to see RamNation live and in person is at Davidson. I look forward to going each year. I'll be there in 106 as well. Here's hoping for a positive outcome!

Hopefully Saturday was just a bad day at the office and they bounce back and get this W. Not your typical Davidson team but Belk Arena is always a tough place to play.

Don't discount Watkins and Huffman for DC. They both had big scoring games at the Stu.

Yeah, they have their games, but who does it consistently for them? I still think you take out Loyer and the head of the snake is gone. the rest of the body may be flailing around a bit, but the damage is minimal.

Improvements to bring home a victory:

1. No technicals
2. Need Ace to not leave his feet among the trees in the paint, not knowing where to pass the ball.
3. Hit 40% of threes
4. Max dribbles by bigs (Johns) of four when backing a man down.
5. Play D like Broad St bullies, not Cary St powder puffs.

Of note: the VCU bench was key in the winning streak. Getting 25 to 30 out of them is huge. It did not happen against Bona. Need Watkins, Shriver and Jackson to have a good game.

In the DC v St.L. - 3 of the St.L. key players had 2 fouls early, including Yuri. Walkins had several easy baskets, with drives to the hoop.

The Bona game lacked that and we didn't match their intensity and maintain it.

Another thing of note in the Bona game is we had ref's that were calling the game very differently from prior games IMO; less freedom of movement. So, the other key to success is our ability to adapt to the whistle and don't give the '...come on ref...' looks when they don't call an 'And1'. That's our job as fans.
