I’ve been disappointed every game since LSU. Now it’s almost apathy. 😕 Only possible bright spot is we could end up being a bad loss for ol’ Frank Willie.
I will say this, I felt like the meltdown earlier in the season was lame. Now that we're halfway through the season I think being in meltdown mode is reasonable.

Blowout. 79-65 Dayton.

3-20 (15.0%) from 3. Crushed on the glass 37-31.

10-17 from the line. Out assisted 16-10. Out blocked 4-2. Dayton shot 50% overall from the field.

Was anyone’s game at 41-41 but you’re not gonna win many games giving up 22-0 runs. That was pretty much the game.

12-5, 2-2. Pretty mediocre season thus far but plenty of basketball left.

The only good thing is we get at least one more opportunity to beat Dayton. But yeah, this was very disappointing.
We looked good, until we didn't. Losing this game is hardly a surprise, since they are obviously a really good team, and were at home... but then we looked good for a while, so the hopes become expectations, and then we got punched too many times to recover.

Most of the stats were even or in our favor with 18 minutes to play in the game. Then the 8 minute stretch from heck happened. It seems to happen against almost every good team we play. We just aren’t as good as everyone thought we’d be, including me.
