Mason’s the worst.

Almost not even worth hating, but I can’t help myself. As I mention every year, they should have never been invited to the A-10. Pure garbage.

Because in 2012, Mason was still coming off NCAA appearances then Larranaga left and they made the decision to hire Hewitt..Hewitt pushed the program back 15 years...

Kim English is a good coach..they are going to begin turning the corner this year.

Mason was already slipping off under Hewitt. Murray St was a consistent success. Mason had a questionable future after losing a coach that brought its only success. There was no need to rush adding them. They weren’t going anywhere.

Objectively speaking, Mason is the sleeping Giant of the A10. The largest school in the state and the A10. The only growing school in the state over the past 4 years sitting at just under 40,000 students, located in Fairfax county (one of the 10 or 11 most affluent in the country) with the DMV, one of basketball hot beds in the nation and massive investments in their sports programs underway.

The right coach could turn them into a juggernaut.

Their upside far exceeds Murray St or Belmont.
