Last time we went to Chaifetz Arena with first place on the line we played like poop and had to make a big rally late only to come up short. Hoping for a different outcome this time.

Outside of the CBI win and Graham’s heroics I feel like that’s not been a good place to us. 2013 we got absolutely broken on national Tv there after getting ranked 25th that morning. Then we smashed Butler to pieces.

As was at the SLU game last year at Chafietz and lemme tell you....that was a looooong drive home for many reasons.

Down just under 20 at the half...
Hason and Levi were wildly ineffective...
That friggin Jimerson kid hits a million threes...
Somehow the Rams storm back to DOWN ONE...Yuri Collins layup/Vince missed 3.....ugh

That was an all-time "We have no business winning this game, but I'll sure as sh1t take it...dear lord in heaven noooOOOOooooooooooooooooo....we lost, I knew we would (kicks a can in a desultory fashion with most of spirit broken)" kind of game

MR and Staff and the Guys know what's at stake and how important this game is....and if I still feel this salty a year later!!?? You can bet your bippie that there's a bunch of dudes in black and gold that want some revenge too...

They'll come correct, I can feel it

Go Rams!!!

Clearly teams are keying heavily on our three-point shooting. The Bonnies did it and then Davidson copied it. That *should* make driving the lane easier if their defenders are worried about the perimeter. If we can make a few threes, drive the lane, and make our free throws (75%?) I think we should be able to win against SLU.

Then again, it may be that I don't know jack.

I missed the Davidson game, but we were missing open shots against the Bonnies. In fact, the games just before then, we were hitting significantly harder shots than the ones we missed against the Bonnies.

I know Nick isn’t a shooter but does anybody think maybe he should take a shot when he’s so open many times? Have seen him make plenty of jump shots in warmups

SL may have a lingering hangover from the Fordham game but they have had time to regroup. They're a hard team to figure. Iona beat them like a rented mule , George Mason probably should have beaten them (at their place) , and I believe SIU won at their venue. For the other side of the coin, they have played well against stiffer competition. I hope we start out fast and furious and avoid the 5-6 min. scoring droughts. I'm predicting 7 3s but , more importantly , a win by 4-6 pts. Just win by whatever it takes! GO RAMS!

I lost my "bippie" years ago in a bet...but I agree. This ain't about who's 1st in the conference...this is about dominating the conference
