Opponents leave him open for a reason. To his credit, he understands that and doesn't force things. However, at some point he's going to need to take and make a shot outside the lane.

I watched a few SLU games. Their PG Collins is the key. They have two really good 3pt shooters in Perkins and Jimmerson. The key to them being good shooters is Collins setting them up. They like to run on long rebounds and that is when Collins is at his best. If we miss some early 3s, we could fall behind by a big margin early. When they're in a set offense, they really look to get Jimmerson the ball.
They don't play great D. Getting Collons in foul trouble is the key. When he's on the bench, their O is a hot mess. They don't get open looks and Jimmerson starts forcing shots.
They are definitely beatable, but we must stop their transition game, which has not been our calling card.
Also, Ace needs to not make this a personal battle trying to outplay Collins.

SLU is going to go as Collins go. The X factor is Jimmerson. Can't let him get hot from 3. He's got a quick release. We gave up several 3's against Davidson from over helping. Can't do that with Jimmerson or he'll go off.
Jimmerson's 3pt shot as been funky lately. Of course everybody goes off on us.

OK guys and gals, We pretty much know how other teams are going to play us. Stop/slow down Ace, stop Shriver, get Deloach upset lol, attack the paint, stop Johns, be ready for our press and defense. The blueprint is out there.
Time to throw some curves to that blueprint. Other teams cannot stop scrappy, no quit play and team ball.
