If you honestly think a single game result, save for MAYBE a national final, plays any role whatsoever in how a conference aligns itself, then you might be schizophrenic.
@rambunctiousrowdyram would sacrifice his child to be in the Big East lol. If he had any understanding of the business that is college sports, he would learn that the BE knows that no legitimate candidate other than Gonzaga would move the needle for the BE and that ain’t happening.

Some of you guys need to back off the ledge. You lost to the team that won The A10 last year lost no players and was picked unanimously to win it this year. You will have another shot at us and maybe two. College basketball is a funny game. We barely beat a horrible Lasalle team Tuesday and then looked awesome tonight. It will be good if We both continue to win. Your season is not over. See you next month.

Yeah, we'll just ignore, like an ass hole, the times we punked those teams.
That doesn’t change the fact that when we faced their physical teams we’ve gotten punked. SLU, SJU, SBU, URI, etc. How many A10 title games did we get pushed around in? Yeah…..

Literally makes no sense. I’m saying we won’t be enticing the Big East with lousy performances like this (Someone said they couldn’t wait for us to leave for the BE.) when we’re already a major uphill battle yet you are talking about me being desperate regarding seeing VCU in the BE. Not getting your point tbh. I seriously think you just showed up to try to talk 💩 again like usual.Personal vendettas always show through man.

Yeah we have to. They sagged off Curry so much on defense leaving him open on 3 pointers, allowed them to clog up the lane. Hard to score inside when Ossuniyi is there with a help defender. 2nd half Tsohonis got in and opened the lane somewhat, Levi got in and was double teamed while sometimes passing it back out for open shots.
needed more Stockard. Ward had no chance nor the underclassmen.

@rambunctiousrowdyram keep moving the goal posts.
Sorry people can’t face the fact that we can’t play well against physical teams. Instead we blame the refs. We know A10 refs suck. You other adjust or you lose. We didn’t adjust and we shot horrible. We also made stupid errors all night. You don’t win games against teams that way anyway but when are you playing a team that plays a style (physical) that you struggle with you can’t shoot yourself in the foot. You do have to ask questions when you get manhandled by physical teams. That happened early this year when Wagner and such pushed us around on our own court.

He was much better last season.
Didn't even seen the original post G-man was responding to, but I just know he and you are talking about Ward. There's so much I want to say, not just about Ward, but.....I will just leave it at that. On to the next game. No reason for them to hand their heads, it's a game and ish happens. They play hard, and that's all we can ask for.

@rambunctiousrowdyram you still can't ignore the fact that we have also beaten physical teams. Plenty of them.

You also can't ignore the fact that we are literally saying WE ALSO PLAYED HORRIBLY. BOTH THINGS CAN BE TRUE.

You seem to can't face the fact that you said you'd stop posting here.

Did you see any of the Baylor or UCONN games? Or Dayton? We can absolutely play with physical teams, we ARE a physical team. It was a bad night in a long season. Plenty of games left to be played. We'll be OK.

I don’t know. He plays like basketball is a hobby for him. He seems slow to react and doesn’t position himself well on defense…unless he’s trying to challenge the 3 pt. shooter… I remember last year, he was actually decent guarding on the perimeter. Combine this regression, disinterest or whatever it is, with no development in his game offensively, and he’s become a liability out there. A far cry from the NBA draft board.
G-Man you are 100% correct. Add to that weak hands when rebounding.

Related note: a bunch of these dudes (Lofton, Welch, Ossuniyi) lost to us by 30 on that same floor a few years ago, then lost to us without Ossuniyi the following year on our court by 28.They got older and added some perfect pieces in Adaway and Holmes. That's really our challenge, is to add the perfect pieces, complete the puzzle. We've got some great young talent and some nice experience as well, but we're clearly a few pieces off. Maybe those pieces are on our roster and just need to figure it out, but likely we're a couple of additions (or subtractions?) away from getting to where the Bonnies have gotten with this group. That's a very good team and those of us who watch a ton of basketball are smart enough to know that.
Plus their core consists of 5 Seniors who did pretty well last year. They are gonna be tough to beat. We let up and never did. They did what Senior teams do they had us on the ropes and they knocked are arses out.

Soft teams cry and complain, tough teams never forget the arse whooping and never let their opponents forget either.
