I was at the game. VCU played well in the first half and in the second it was a parade to the foul line for Temple. That game actually gave Temple the opportunity to make the A10 a five bid league that year. They needed that win. Some conspiracy theorists believe that it was a Bernie game.

He was probably the 2nd best offensive player in the country behind McCollum. Didn’t have any body who matched up with him. Couple bullyish types as well.

It was. I stayed with my wife's cousin in Fairmount on Green Street. My friends and I took a train to Temple's campus and began drinking beer with Temple fans around 10 am. The game was early. Reggie Miller was one of the announcers. Temple fans were nice to us before and after the game. They were grateful to get the win because they knew it would get them an at-large opportunity.

Beat the hoot out of those Owls! I know we've got this one. Ace is back and he makes everything work. I have to work tomorrow so won't see our game live. Also got tickets to Dayton tomorrow afternoon. My first game at UD arena.
