Its the offseason thread which means you can post anything here which means I am gonna post stuff about big men.

We marvel at steph curry

wilt shooting 4 consecutive 3 pt hook shots without even a sweat. Pretty darn impressive.

Here is another one. People today think wilt only dunked. Wrong. He invented turnaround fadeway jumper.

As we get ready to kick off the 2021-22 competition this week with the men's and women's soccer teams and the field hockey team, one last look back at the A-10 champions from 2020-21: VCU won 6 championships (4 women, 2 men), Rhode Island won 2, nine schools took home 1, and 3 schools didn't have to make room in their trophy case (GMU, LaSalle, and St Joe). Here's to another great year in 2021-22. Go Rams!

And we were competitive in most other sports.
We also are in the middle of completing a new STEM building where Franklin St Gym was. We are announcing the Athletic Village plans more and more and I am sure there are more construction zones and plans going up. Add to that all the new VCU grads that have entered the work force and current alums grinding it out and rising up the ranks in government and corporate America. VCU is becoming a force in Virginia and beyond.

The Athletic Village is definitely happening and it will be a much needed boost for all of VCU’s sports.

The sad thing is that the #1 on that list is bring in mega million lottery level monies simply because their toilet brush team plays in P5 football conference. Amazing.
 
Since duncanlamb is apparently spamming this thread with things absolutely nobody else cares about, I have a question a few might be interested in….

Is Eduardo Perez on ESPN MLB broadcasts the absolute worst announcer of all time? This dude’s voice makes me want to rip my ears from my head. And his hot takes are terrible.

Seriously, who sat in a conference room and said “Hey this guy would be great for tv”?
