The most important recruiting he’s going to be doing over the next few weeks is his own team. I hope he knocks it out if the park with that and then can add 1-2 transfers instead of 4-5.GO GET HIM, COACH

A single digit seed is good house money to bargain with. Part of the problem is the other player has a presumptive single digit baked into the equation because their P5 and they have $100k to throw at a player.Realistically there is no amount of recruiting Coach can do if anyone playing major minutes wants to hit the portal. We are looking at being a single digit seed for the next two years if we can keep this core together. Those decisions (if they happen) will likely be out of his control.
Hopefully the NIL hat is getting passed around.
It’s probably a lot more than $100k that will be thrown around. Maybe 3-4 times that much.A single digit seed is good house money to bargain with. Tell me what happened with Wheeler at Louisville? That was a terrible team and he didn’t play much at all. In the doghouse with the coach? Lack of effort? Lack of improvement? Injuries? Feels like a lot of people want him back home here bc he was a big recruit but I need more here.
Yeah, I'm hoping that after a few years of kids going places that aren't good for their futures and "investors" not getting good returns for their money on a lot of players this will slow down some.Yep, and we see what a great decision that was.
I hope we can get someone better. His 2 year stats at unc are headscratching.
@VCU Heel we offered him. What's the word? Any feeling about if we have a shot this time around?
I only saw a couple of games where he got any run at all. Played good D, got some rebounds, except for screening on high ball screens was almost totally ignored on offense. He was open on some screen and rolls but the guards just went one on one instead of getting him the ball. That might be one of the signs of why they were not a good team.Certainly a valid question. Even in the games where Wheeler got double digit minutes there wasn't much production.
