At least 886 people have become victims of gun violence this year, according to NYPD stats. That is up by more than 30% from this time last year.

This is amazing. Tarique barely survived a shooting spree at High school graduation party.

One of five victims, he got shot in the calf with bullets exiting entering one side and exiting the other. The bullets came close to hitting an artery. He was sidelined for a year from playing basketball.

Two days later, he survived shooting outside at a charity basketball game.
