Pennsylvania has a town named Indiana and California. Shaka's first coaching gig was in California, Pa. Jimmy Stewart, of It's a Wonderful Life fame, grew up in Indiana, Pa.
Ohio has a town called Palestine, one called Russia and one called Versailles, all in the same county (Darke), all of which they manage to pronounce incorrectly.

NET dropped from 30 to 47 with the loss.
It’s pretty clear that in general the NET is still 4+ weeks away from being “stabilized”.

Our NET ranking is still very good considering where I thought we would be at this point. Winning will improve it or keep it stable. Losing will either drop it or bottom out. On to the next one..

So, the Dayton win erased a good amount of the hit we took in the NET from the losses to Rhode Island and St. Bonaventure. VCU has jumped from #57 to #45 in the NET.

Unfortunately, though, we need to start rooting for Rhode Island to start playing better. Their rather unimpressive win over #316 Fordham caused them to drop from #70 to #77 in the NET overnight, which makes our home loss to them a Q3 loss (which could be considered a bad loss despite Rhode Island being a top 100 team).

At least Utah State moving to #50 makes them a quadrant 1 win since it was neutral court, will be nice if that holds up.

It probably will if Utah State doesn't lose any (more) games they should win. They have a lot of weaker opponents lined up before they take on #15 Boise State. That loss to Colorado State in their second game didn't help though.

They are down to UNLV with 5 minutes to go. If they lose that would be two in row.

Utah State drops to #57 in the NET, so we currently have zero Q1 wins. They will probably need to win at least one of their games against Boise State to get back in the top 50.

We have three more Q1 opportunities as of right now: at Richmond, vs Saint Louis, and at Davidson.
