No pitching.
you ain't wrong....

I'm honestly not sure WHAT the disconnect is between Coaches LeCroy/Gordon and the Rams Staff.....but there is clearly some kind of schism. Obviously, I'm not privy to all the ins and outs of Strategy/Philosophy/Mechanics/et al....but whatever their plan is?? It ain't workin....so, it is MASSIVELY incumbent upon them to figure out WHO on God's green earth can get this job done. I refuse to believe that Campbell Ellis just forgot how to pitch....or that the other arms they brought in just can't handle the likes of Sacred Heart or frickin Fairfield....

Welcome to D1 baseball in NOT a total backwater conference, gentlemen....right the ship before the Bonnies come to town or else good luck recruiting at VCU from NOT a place of power. programs like VCU live on a razor's edge with $$$/Facilities/Attendance/Recruiting....so there is STILL time to right this ship.

It starts again vs NJIT (who are bad) and a Longwood game (also pretty bad) all at home....before we hit the road to a pretty mediocre/bad USF squad

Let's get to .500....

There are 39 games left on the schedule, so if we could win them all we could finish 45-11. Pretty darn impressive.
It could happen………….

Seriously, if we could turn things around and win 60%, we would be 30 - 26. Respectable.

Yep...hopefully we can hold on to this one run lead. Avoided posting while the team was doing poorly because I did not want to go negative. However, the basketball boards have gotten so crazy I think I will just plant myself here for the near future.

Check this out.
LSU is currently #1. In fact, 7 of the top 11 teams are from the SEC.

Last week:

LSU won five games by a combined score of 56-4, with the run-rule invoked in four of the five games. On the season, the Tigers have outscored their opponents, 179-38.

Probably a good thing they aren’t on our schedule.

Unfortunately for former Ram Ben Nippolt….he’s only managed a dozen AB’s so far…I hope that picks up for him, it if you’re not in that Tiger core, playing time is intermittent at best.

Great Win and sweep for the Rams
Gotta keep it goin!

OK....Rams beat Longwood 5-2

Oddly, Campbell Ellis got a 2 out save...glad to see him putting in the work, hopefully he gets back to his old starting self in time for A10 play.

Still not sure how this team will fare in the A10, but this run of W's vs bad teams is better than the earlier season L's vs bad teams..haha

Off to South Florida for a 3 game USF series.
