Recap: After a tough loss in Olean, NY on Wednesday, Coach Rhoades and the Rams (10-4, 3-2) looked to bounce back as they hosted the Dayton Flyers (8-3, 4-2). Behind floor general sophomore Bones Hyland and his game high 28 points, VCU would grab their 11th win of the season, beating the Flyers and former VCU coach Anthony Grant, 66-43.

VCU turned the ball over 15 times to UD’s 14.
VCU shot 42% from the field, connecting on 25 of 60 shots.
VCUs bench outscored UD’s 23-22.
VCU grabbed 44 rebounds to UD’s 32.
The Rams shot 30% from behind the arc.  They hit 7 of their 23 three point shots.

Next Game: VCU will host UMASS Wednesday, January 27th at 7pm. The game is scheduled to be televised on ESPN+.

Super win with exception of unforced turnovers. Bones MVP with almost everyone contributing. Douglas is having a senior slump and will snap out of it, trying too hard. Congrats to the team and coaches.
