wonder what is preventing them from running some short scrimmages? There couldn't be any higher risk in doing that than they have during a normal practice right? Of course I will still watch but kind of a downer for this guy that has just been looking for something to look forward to 🤷‍♂️

They aren't having a scrimmage because the NCAA has said no one can hold an exhibition game or scrimmage. So that's that. Why the NCAA thinks a glorified practice or shootaround presents less of a COVID risk is another question

Pretty sure the NCAA prohibition is against having an exhibition or scrimmage game against another school, but haven't gone back to look at their guidance.
