I still stand by resting Bones. We need him health for the A-10 tourney. Jamir has been good today and the periods Bones was out injured the guys tightened up and played with energy.

Jamir was good offensively but he was abused on defense and on the glass. Typical freshman. I’m in my 50’s and I’m not sure he could block me out.

Yep. I love hearing about those guys. Thanks to MistaChill I’ve watched some of the bigger games from that era. Those cats could ball for sure! Rolando Lamb was Eric Maynor before Eric Maynor.

And Calvin Duncan was a big strong guard who could score at all three levels.

Jamir stepped up when Bones got hurt and made some plays that kept us in it. D needs some work, but he's playing against a lot of upper classmen who have a few more games under their belt than he does. He's just getting started.

Jamirs game has developed a ton in the last few weeks

you can tell he’s getting more comfortable being aggressive to get his shots off.. which is usually the no. 1 thing freshman have trouble with

that adjustment to a new team, new identity, new competition, etc... and they are constantly second guessing themselves and not really letting the game come to him

I think that is Jalen DeLoach, the recruit coming in....but maybe Jamir did as well, not sure.
