I remember one Terrance Shannon dunk that may have killed someone. Definitely the highlight of the Terrance Shannon era. I look forward to seeing many more highlights from MBJ.
heck yeah, Reddic goes for the 2 hand flush and the ball hits back iron and flies straight up and Shannon catches it right behind him and follows with the thunder jam! That was SICK!!!

I captured this photo of Tyron (no e) slamming while Tulane's Jerald Honeycut (McDonald's All-American) looked on helplessly. The photo resides in my attic mancave.

Oh and since we are talking about slams how about revisiting 15 minutes of Special K hammering it home.
I can hear the Autumn Wind...

I found me! :P

And yeah, it was. Definitely one of the most exciting things I've seen in person at the Stu.
I was pretty impressed with you Will and how quick you brought that camera up for the 2nd dunk attempt by Shannon, then flip it over to the VCU bench for the reaction. Good stuff.

Thanks. I still feel a bit bad that I lowered the camera when Ju missed his dunk, I probably could've captured Terrance's putback a lot better if I had!

Oh, and the reaction was something else. Mo can fly!

Freddie "Uptown" Brown was first Ram to score on an alley-oop dunk, about '83 ... Freddie was a 6-4 forward from the Bronx who was later drafted by NBA Phoenix.
SO LIKED watching Fred, I remember the game he just exploded out of his shell and dominated

His junior season they had a really good squad surrounding him. He got hurt so it killed that season although I still feel like that team got snubbed for a bid.
Any other old guys (or gals) like myself remember Wes Carmack’s windmill dunk at the Coliseum? Probably the greatest left handed dunk in VCU history.

I do , and was very close to that when he did it. We didn't see a ton of plays with that degree of "OMG" back in the day from our guys. Wes was very athletic and strong, but that was highlight reel material. Thanks for sparking that memory.
