Agents don't get 10% of development, facilities, atmosphere, community support, or post-season berths. They get 10% of the cold hard cash, and that's all that matters to them

And I think you're confusing headlines with what happens in most programs. Do you think all 15 A10 teams were paying players before the portal exploded? How many of the 350+ programs in D1 were paying their players? How many players on each of those 350+ teams was getting paid?
