Folks weren't happy about it and about how Odom left, but it made sense. USU was never a perfect fit for him.
But Odom didn't leave in the blink of an eye (after saying he was staying) to an in-state rival who big times USU even though their MBB program has been considerably inferior for the past decade. That's the major heartburn. If Smith had gone basically anywhere else but two schools, nobody would've had a problem with it.

If Tony Bennett left UVA and they hired Odom, I'd be pretty aggravated but I'd get it. If Mike Young left VA Tech and they hired Odom, I'd have an aneurysm

We're SO psyched. About a month ago Kat's squirrel she feeds, Michelle, stopped coming around and our neighbors a few days later texted saying they'd seen one dead on our side street, hoping it wasn't her. We assumed it was. We buried her, sad it had been so many years since the trusting squirrel had been coming around to see it end like that. Today, Michelle showed back up! There are several who are trusting here we feed daily, by hand, but Michelle is extra special, and seeing her return like this today alive and in great shape, means it's an extra joyous day.. hope that flows over into tonight! Maybe a game day blessing saying EVERYTHING'S GONNA BE ALRIGHT?! We hope so!
