Down here in Raleigh we have the good fortune to have the Canes. Simply a well run organization and going to see them is truly a blast (except for the Traffic, but that’s a small price to pay if you love the sport)

Maybe we were just more trusting of folks then. I attended an ABA game at the coliseum just 2 years later and was jumped (in the actual building) by a group of kids and ended up spending the night in Hospital with cuts, bruises, and a cracked eye socket.

I was just thinking, I never would have let my kids go to downtown Richmond at that age unaccompanied. It’s sad but your right, if I did, they’d lock me up for child neglect.

What were our hockey teams, Robins, Rifles, and Renegades. I’m sure there are a few I’ve missed. If Richmond politics was half as good as what’s down here in Raleigh, it would have multiple minor league sports teams. The city is run by a bunch of clown!
