Hopefully we can add GJ in there, but it's already looking pretty nasty in there when Skeen comes around. I think we will redshirt Nixon if GJ commits or Nixon will transfer.

What makes you think Nixon will redshirt/transfer? G.J. is a PG, Nixon won't be competing with any of the new guys for minutes anyway.

I disagree a little bit. I know we do need the bigger guys next season, but I'd rather have Nixon in there than Saintil. Terrence hasn't really had a chance to really prove himself yet, but I feel Nixon is a great defender and has the heart and drive we need next year, especially in the press. He needs to work on his finishing, but he's great at driving to the rim.

I spoke to Ed two weeks ago and he is very exited about playing in Smart's system. Ed is a broken play kind of player who is suited for pressing. I don't see him transfering out no matter who comes, he may be the first guy off the bench along with Brandon.

Very good point. We need Ed's length and athleticism on the press. Him and Franck will be deadly in transition and in the full-court trap.

Don't really see SAINTIL as a center..

Saintil is a power forward. There are very few true centers in the CAA. Honestly Larry projects as a 4 at the next level too.

Honestly, Ed might be one of our best Man defensive players and don't forget about what he brings to the press

we may see a different ed nixon next year, he's really worked on his offensive game and began to show signs late in the year. He's shooting 200-300 jumpers a day, he can be a huge spark off the bench.

He's definitely one of the strongest to the basket too. With him and Gwynn, along with one of these new PGs, the lay-ups should be rolling in in no time.

Still got to work on finishing. I think building his upper-body strength will go a long way towards making that happen. There are very few in this league who have the athleticism and ability to get to the basket that he does. He can be lethal on the fast break.

Agreed, I mentioned that earlier but as you said, not many can slash through a defense the way he does.

and the dunks and ally-oops, we have a lot of guys shoot 3s in transition very well. Rozell pulled up on the break lots last year for big 3s

Yeah B-Rozz came a long very nicely towards the end of the year. His shot selection was horrible at the beginning of the year, but he stepped up down the stretch. Shu said that B-Rozz would be a better player when all was said and done. I think they've had a similar progression so far as well. Shu was a very similar player his sophomore year and I think B-Rozz can have a similar effect as Shu did as a sixth man his junior year.

I want Franck to break the all-time scoring record at VCU. Then come back and be an assistant coach.
