Both Phillip and Harris remain on the loose. If you have any information, please contact Philadelphia Police.

Wow, that's pretty messed up.. You'd think with a free ride to college, you'd make the best out of it and not ruin it by doing something like this. Guilty until proven innocent though, would like to hear their alibi...

well, i can tell ya two games that i'm pretty sure we're gonna win this year.

this drexel program is in SERIOUS doodoo. i have to believe that bruiser and his staff will take the fall.

man o man. jamie harris of all kids. best player on the team. very talented kid.

what an absolute waste. armed friggin robbery for a darn iphone. wow, man.

It is always sad to hear when players get into trouble with the law. I always enjoyed seeing Harris play. Perhaps we don't know the complete story. Let's hope at least.

eh.. i hate to say it but they have both kids on surveillance video entering and leaving the apartment... these kids are an absolute disgrace to both themselves and my fine university... They get a free $150,000 education to a top notch school... they are provided with a roof over their heads and meals... what did they stand to gain - a few hundred dollars?? Jamie was 1 year away from graduating with a Drexel degree.. potential to be a first team all conference player... everything he has ever worked for is now completely worthless.. he had his entire future ahead of him... and now - he has ruined his life for an iphone...

If anybody wants some interesting reading - take a trip over to the zone and look at the thread where MANY of us were voicing concerns over a month ago about how disgusting his twitter and facebook was... It is just amazing to me that the most recognizable face on our campus could possibly think that he could get away with armed robbery...

As I said on the zone - these 2 kids weren't criminals..they were wanna be thugs trying to impress each other with how hardcore they are.. and now - they are going to learn exactly what happens when you cross that line..

Just an absolutely terrible day for our school... and I feel the worst for the other guys on the team that Jamie let down... they were counting on him to be a leader.. I even feel bad for Bruiser (who I wanted out long ago) because now he is in an impossible situation.. as a game day coach - he sucks.. but he is a stand up guy and he doesn't deserve to have this on his conscience...

Bruiser's damage control was to say on SUnday that "he doesnt know what is going on"...and this happen on what? Thursday? I am guessing he was in Orlando ro Vegas recruiting but only 3 of the 4 coaches can recruit at one time. SHouldn't someone have been able to get him up to speed sooner than 3 -4 days later?
Sorry for the DU program. I hope it gets handled better from here on and that Drexel can move on as well.
I hope all the kids on VCU and every program in the conference learn from this. This is a huge teachable moment for these guys who need to feel less entitled and a bit more humble for the things given them.

honestly, what do you expect him to do? no coach is going to jump to wild conclusions in a case like this. if he didn't know about it, he didn't know about it. can't necessarily fault the guy for that.

it doesn't change what happened.

I do feel for Bruiser and his staff. Athough, facebook and twitter have recently become "public" problems for those who are high profile public individuals. Unfortunate as it is, school are now going to have to add to their already burdened agenda, policing students twitter and facebook accounts...and/or other public things like blogs, etc.

I don't know whether to blame Bruiser/staff for not reining these guys in before it got so far or just blame these moron thugs for blowing a great educational and athletic opportunity. I mean, wtf was going through these guys heads when they came up with this?

Not to mention that this was not just robbery....this was ARMED robbery.
