2009-2010 Top 25 plus 20 to Watch

This is such an f-ing joke. I love Goodman, but do your homework my man. Larry should be in his top 30 draft prospects, and we should be atleast ranked 44,45,46. I would also have ODU, NE, GMU somewhere in there.
And heres a wildcard Goodman should have considered, U of R.

He likes OU, Nevada, and Siena. I know we don't play Siena,(there game with NE is interesting) but maybe in BB. I can only dream. However, as silly Bracketbusters has gotten, I would expect us to draw Utah Valley St. even if were in the top 25.

i disagree. there are still some question marks on this team. no way they will or should be handed a top 50 ranking to start the season.
 
Goodman is very aware of VCU, fwiw.

For a team looking to replace a player who produced nearly a third of its scoring and 40 percent of its assists, I think it's fair for people to have questions.

To have VCU ranked between 45-50 preseason this year is not out of the question in my opinion.....however, I don't see this years team making the NCAAs. But pray it does. I see an NIT team. Its '10/'11 where I think we can make the 25 an sweet 16. (if Larry stays)

I have my sights set a bit higher! I believe this is a better TEAM than we had last year and I imagine we will crack the Top 25 at some point during the season and make another run in the NCAAs.

However, I do agree that the following year could be even better should Larry return for his senior season!
