Was it just me, or did CBS do "not as good" a job this year? Many of the shots were from an overhead camera trying to keep up with a play and there were not many replays.

Camera angles were terrible

I feel like this a trend I have been seeing in all sports. The NFL and the NBA have both been experimenting with this. I absolutely hate it. I would guess most people would rather the conventional sideline camera angle.

Agreed. They seem to think that more cameras automatically equals better coverage. The various angles are fine for replays and such but in real time I would prefer to stick with the basics.

I found the camera angles very distracting during the tournament! My wife said to me, why do they switch to the overhead camera everytime we get the ball on offense. I started paying more attention to it thereafter and it did seem like we had our fair share of those crazy angles while we were on offense in particular.

it was very distracting throughout the tournament. My friends and I just made a joke out of it saying things like "now this would your view if you were sitting baseline 45 rows backs" or "so this is what your view would be like if you were a bird resting at the top of the arena." I hope they do much less of this next year.

Very annoying camera angles.
They also often showed fans or cheerleaders (sometimes ok :)) while the ball was in play.
Too much effort in being innovative and artsy resulted in missed plays. Just stick to showing the game.
