2023 Carlton Carrington is a 6’4” guard out of St. Frances Academy in Baltimore. He started out the spring running with Team Durant, but recently changed back to Team Melo, who he ran with last year on the Nike EYBL circuit.

Although he is basically a year young for his class, he still happens to be one of the better pull-up jump shooters in 2023. He has taken an unofficial visit to VCU, who is competing with George Mason and GW, where he’s also taken official and unofficial visits; as well as Marquette, Pitt, and Iona, where he also plans on taking visits.

He has been quoted as saying that style of play and player development will be key in his decision.

Read his newly published evaluation: Player Evaluation.

Very interesting scout! I've enjoyed prior evals you have done and appreciate you posting this here!

Didn't Ace go to St. Frances Academy in Baltimore?? Can't hurt that they probably already have a relationship.

He may be back on the board next spring if Jeff gets fired.

Maybe. But Pitt just recruited a Top 10 5* guard for the class of 22, a couple of 4* wings and some pretty good work in the transfer portal.
Pitt isn’t going to do crap the next 2 years to save Jeff’s job.

But Jeff is confirming he was the best bag man in ACC history while he was at Duke.

Well, when Jeff leaves Pitt next year perhaps Carlton will show up on the free agent list next spring.
