Recruiting 2023 Offers

I figured it was the easy availability of transfers. So, a kid commits to a school as a freshman months or even a year before his high school graduation. Then, the school brings in new transfers to fill up the roster, as we know schools are going to have to do every year. The freshman player then learns, after seeing the makeup of the team, that he’ll be fourth string. BOOM … decommit.

I swear I’m starting to wonder if it’s worth bothering with freshmen anymore unless they’re five star players. Let someone else develop them, and then bring them in as juniors when they decide to transfer. The way things are looking for VCU, it’s possible we only have one freshman this year, and he’s a redshirt freshman.
Basketball has to get through all of the Covid players before we will know the true impact. I predict there will be 2024 class kids that actually post grad or reclass to 2025 so that the competitive pool is smaller

Is Steven Ashworth, 6’1” guard from Utah State coming? Thought I read something about him a while ago.

We advance through a gap in the Maginot Line just south of Maubeuge and fall on Paris from the northeast. If we do this with haste they will be forced to capitulate.
I mean, we are gonna have the German on our roster after all.
