It was. Free throw shooting killed Auburn in the 2nd half of the first game and Proctor for Duke being a poor free throw shooter as a guard hurt them. Ultimately turnovers killed Auburn and Duke in the final 10 minutes of both games. Of course the obvious is scoring buckets. Wild that Duke really did not score in the final 10 minutes.

I turned it on with five minutes to play and I'm pretty sure the only basket they scored was the Flagg 3. Thought that tech on Houston would cost them but you could tell they were absolutely getting at least one steal off an inbound.

The travel agent who swindled George Mason and a number of other schools out of hundreds of thousands of dollars by failing to book travel arrangements for various events pled guilty to wire fraud and running a Ponzi scheme. The agent fleeced GMU out of $160,000, using some of it to pay back a NAIA school that he had also failed to arrange travel for (to a baseball tournament).

This is probably going to be the end of the VII Group, which runs Holiday Hoopsgiving and a couple other college and high school MTEs. They're also currently being sued by Memphis, who demanded a refund after withdrawing from last season's Holiday Hoopsgiving.
