My first thought: he was committed to Danny Sprinkle while at USU. Sprinkle showed an excellent propensity for finding under the radar talent, his roster was basically unknown and then top 25 the entire season…so I’ll take it

My assumption is that Odom was actually in on Hill when Odom was at USU, then that interest from the school continued with Sprinkle. When Sprinkle split and Hill decommitted, Odom swooped back in.
