2025-26 Roster Thread

Money we use to pay/buy players should be weighed against the players ability to start and be competitive against P6 teams, not to be competitive enough to win against teams in a one bid league. So can our bigs start on most p6 programs? If not, is our objective only to win the A10 and chant you-don’t-want-to-go-to-war? This is another rebuilding year. I pray we can rebuild to be competitive in the NCAA tournament, not just the A10. If we can’t win that we’re likely not going anywhere. Just ask Mason.

Once again asking someone to make another thread because I only know how to post commitments in the most inconvenient way possible.

One thing that often gets lost this time of year is that, what, 80-95% of transfers that get announced nationwide seem to get at least a mildly positive reception from that school's fanbase if not a very positive reception. And yet, nowhere near that percentage of transfers end up having really good seasons inevitably. So it's always a solid idea to be a bit cautious about how excited we get over any given transfer.

That being said, getting a player from UCONN under just about any circumstances these days seems like pretty good news. I don't think Hurley is recruiting a lot of bums just for the heck of it. This is exciting news and Martelli may well be cooking here.
