I'm not worried about the quantity of players he can keep so much as the quality, and then fit.

Bamgboye will 99.9% follow Odom to UVA or go high p5 but there are a few others I'd like to see us keep.

Mitchell is potentially the most talented, versatile player over 6'9 to ever dawn the black and gold. He came out as a PG, now he's the center.

I would be very, very pleased if we got both of them. Evans started off at St. Bonaventure so it wouldn't be his first rodeo in the A10.

Also, I looked at the box score from the Bryant vs. St. John's game (by far Bryant's most difficult game of the season) and noted these stat lines despite the loss:

Keyshawn Mitchell: 21 pts (2-4 3PT), 12 rebs (7 offensive rebs), 1 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk

Barry Evans: 14 pts, 9 rebs, 4 asts, 2 stls

Those two can definitely hang with high-level competition.

I wouldn't be jazzed for TOO many American East guys....but there's just gotta be room for these 2 at VCU. Immediate help, especially with Luke probably leaving and the PF/C cupboard being kinda thin to bare

I thought he was out, but he only played 4 games in 2021-22 before leaving the team due to health issues. If he could get a retroactive medical redshirt for that season, he could have another year.

Now THAT would be a coup, especially considering that PMSr is the reason he's here in the first place.
