Wow, didn’t realize he’d be good enough to eventually become our starting pg as a freshman? Must be impressive talent for that speculation. Ill wait to see about his decision making under late game stress (major D1 level) but I love that he has that level of talent!

consensus 4*, Top 50 recruit coming from the best HS league in the country. Whether he's precocious enough t make the jump to starting remains to be seen

But Uncle Dunky told me that any point guard with less than 3 years of D1 experience is trash and that we are gonna get shredded by NCSU, et al....

He is that impressive, and I said “could”. I don’t know any more than anyone else.
 
I noticed our latest recruit, Jordann Dumont, isn't yet listed on VCU site roster. Is this just a timing thing? Other than 6' 8" and versitile, does anyone know anything about Dumont? It will be interesting to watch our front court rotation this coming season. Lots of options.

He might not have signed yet. Either that, or they just haven't gotten around to putting him on the site.

This quote from an article posted in the Martelli thread seems to indicate that Obi is sticking around so I will update the main post to reflect that.

Obi is listed on the official roster on the VCU Basketball page as welll
