2025 A10 6th MOTY Zeb Jackson is one heck of a RAM

How did this kid not work out at Michigan? He seems like a real team player and he seems to enjoy participating in all the extra curricular activities. And he seems to always have a positive attitude. Of course I don't know him....he could be the complete opposite, but I don't think so.
Maybe it came down to coaching style and players.
 
Not for nothing but for those who thought some of us were making up or over exaggerating audio concerns, just listen to the VCU home game audio in almost every clip except one as compared to all the other audio

Some kids just mature a little slower. It could be as simple as that. Also, don't discount the fit of the program.

Most likely fit. It’s happened here as well. Glad he chose us.

Zeb wasn't recruited by the coach he played for at Michigan and had a season ending injury during his sophomore year.
 
Yo, Zeb has been killing it lately!

He's averaging almost 13 points per game over our last five while providing great defense. He's clearly put a ton of work into his shooting and it's paying dividends - not only has he hit some big ones from deep, but the fear of his shooting lets him leverage that lightning first step and attack the rim, which is a significant weapon in a offense with as much spacing as ours. It really seems like he's been putting everything together lately and has become a very complete player. That's even more impressive given he's coming off the bench and has embraced the sixth man role.

He's also by all accounts just a super nice guy and great teammate, and is also probably the primary reason we got Brandon Johns a couple years back. We don't win that A10 tournament without Johns, and we aren't in the position we are now without Zeb. Really glad he decided to stick around after Rhoades called it a day. He's my favorite player on the team.

Great post. Don’t forget the free throw shooting. Fantastic. He’s been solid when the game is on the line.

He's our best free throw shooter, but Odom still has Max doing technical foul free throws.

When was the last tech where both were on the floor at the same time? Zeb took the FTs vs LaSalle but Max was not in the game.
