Ekwere is a hot commodity right now. He already had several D1 offers, including Rhode Island and Duquesne, and Just recently NC State and Texas A&M have offered among others. He is 19 and has a college ready body. He is Uber athletic and really put together. Based on limited info he appears to be a Nick Kern type of player at this time. Reportedly a tough and strong defender. While he hits 3's that does not appear to be his strong suite. Again, this is based on limited information. I did see where he scored 51 points in a game but have no idea of the level of competition. Looks like a very nice prospect.

A little more information with respect to Ekwere. The 51 points were in the final game of the U19 Finland Championship. He averaged 30.5ppg., 12.5 boards, and 5.4 assists for the season. Impressive albeit probably not the highest level of competition. Still an interesting prospect and in demand.
