What a gutsy kid! Basically playing on one leg and bringing it like that! Much respect to Jamie. We needed him today and he showed everyone why he is such a beast!

Conversation with my wife during the game. She was half listening while cutting coupons and dutifully watching my breakdown of good/bad plays on the DVR.

Me......."Yea, Skeen is a beast down in the paint today"

Wife...."I thought his name was Steve"

Me....."What??"

Wife....Steve, the announcers said his name was Steve, right?"

Me...."No hon, Skeen....Jamie SKEEN"

Wife...."Oh, 'cause they call that little guy Joey, I thought they were calling him Steve"

Me........"Nope, I can assure you his name is not Steve"

Wife....."Hey, how are we on aquafresh??"

Great story to start the day of with.

Jamie is starting to work his post move spin towards the baseline, and that move is unstoppable. He beat Denzel easily a couple of times. It was a great match-up to watch in person.

with Denzel "guarding" him, it seems like he should have had a lot more
