Saint Joseph's @ Loyola-Chicago- 8 PM (ESPN+)
Lots of games that have the possibly of teams dropping to a game from 2 games behind VCU who is in fourth. A loss would be a 3 game cushion for VCU. That would be if UMass and St Joe's lose. They are 6-5 in the conference going into tonight.

If UR and Loyola lose it drops UR to be tied with UD and VCU is only 1 game out of 1st and Loyola would be tied with VCU. VCU holds both tiebreakers right now with UR and Loyola.

Not sure what is better to root for but the UMass/UR and SJU/Loyola games are win wins either way.

I always pull for UR to lose no matter the situation.

I get that. I kind of want the extra game cushion. 3 games ahead of UMass and St Joe's would be nice.

With you on that as well....St. Joe's is at Loyola tonight....kind of curious to see HOW the Hawks show and if the Ramblers can keep up their A10 winning ways.

I don't think UMass has a chance vs the spiders and I can't even begin to pretend to fake any interest in a Fordham/Bonnies game

Tough to decide if I want SJU or Loyola to lose tonight. Loyola dropping down might be better than having a 3 game cushion? Like I said having a 3 game cushion for a top 4 sounds good but if Loyola loses it moves VCU to 3rd.

Either way works. Personally I think I'd rather have Loyola drop one. Wouldn't mind being 2 or 3 if Dayton wins the conference and Loyola is 4th. I'd prefer to avoid them as long as possible in Brooklyn.

SJU losing gives VCU a higher floor. Loyola losing gives VCU a higher ceiling. Would rather have the higher ceiling.
