Our next 2 Saturday home games are listed as 2pm starts, however there is no TV listed for either game. Why would we be playing anything other than a 7:30 game if it's not for TV???

so that we can get our crap together whenever our road opponents schedule games at stupid times (like noon... coughW&Mcough)

Yeah what was up with that?
What was the reasoning behind scheduling a game at W&M at noon?

Did they need to free up the arena for a big event at 3?
Was this so they could fit the game into a tv schedule?
Did later times conflict with another major event in Williamsburg that could have caused traffic problems?
(btw I'm kidding)

haha yeah, I understand the logic for it, I just personally dislike noon games!!! Therefore, simply because I do not like them, they are completely stupid!

Yes fools, it was for TV. Exactly my point - odd start times should always be for TV.

As for the idea of playing at 2pm, it doesn't help people travel to games - it might for a few, and sure some of those few may be players family members, but we always tend to draw much better for Saturday night games than we do for noon or 2pm games. People usually have a list of things to get done on Saturdays and have evenings more easily free to do things like attend sporting events than they do middle of the day!

huh, I was joking. I didn't think the game was telivised. I guess the infomercials at noon are easier to compete with than the infomercials at 2 - or 4. :)

They were televising CAA games all day starting at 12. I think they had them on at 12, 2, 4, and 7:30 or something similar to that.

as defending champions, we should hold claim to any and all 7:30 pm TV slots! 8-)

Amen to that. I am glad I didn't have to drive. The 4 pm games aren't too bad either, but the champs should never have to play earlier than that.
