He just wants to be Mr. Poser. Again.

If we get to the end of the game and we are in a solid position to win (up 15+ with 2 mins or less to go), we need to start chanting "Roseanne Barr! Roseanne Barr!"

I'm not forgiving him for what he said, but he seems to at least have a sense of humor about it. I read that he's trying to get famous folks to sign the "Eat Crow" sign from the rally and is gonna auction it off for the Coach V foundation.

his shtick has always been different from those like Bilas, Digger, and their ilk... those guys are hardline partisans for the power 6 brand, and as asinine and pigheaded as they might be, they do have a relatively predictable and steady position. They don't care who hates them... in fact, being hated by outsiders is like cred to them... just as long as the hand that feeds them loves them.

Dickie V, on the other hand, wants to be loved by everyone, and will try to please everyone... when he's in the gang with the bilas bunch, he'll pile on with their hating, and seek their approval... but if he gets called out and faced up to by fans like ours, he'll squirm and back peddle, and try to win us over as well

it isn't that he isn't a nice guy or anything, it's that he seems to be a pathologically nice guy... if it can help charity and get good pub, that's great, but imo, don't mistake it for a true change of heart

He has a charity foundation, which is admirable and all, but seriously...

Roseanne Barr?!

I said this in another topic, but Jay Bilas is actually a really nice guy to talk to.

Got to say that although he continues to pick against us "BU" he never seems to be a mean about it. You guys got a lot of the others being just plain mean about it! The laugh test comment was over the top! This will make a lot of money for a darn good cause, so you can't help but love it and thy way yall played!

Venture Richmond is the one that paid to have the banner made, his signature doesn't add that much to it. He is just suggesting that they auction it off and give the money to a charity of his choice (although it is a fine charity).
