League A10 Basketball: news and discourse around the league

I don't think it's that hot a take. I think if Dayton makes it to the final and loses they have a decent chance to get in. There have been teams with lower NET rankings who got in and Dayton is 3-3 in Q1 games with potentially more to come. That 2-5 in Q2 hurts, though.
Not to mention one Q3 loss.

they would get 2 Q2 wins if they made it to the final
The only team in the A10 better than 50 in the NET is VCU, and they wouldn't play us until they got to the final. Remember, these are neutral court games, not away games. If they beat us in the final, they're in regardless. Dayton could improve its NET with a win over GMU or St. Joe's but those would be Q2 wins.

would think a good commissioner would have a sponsor like most P4/P5s with logos on courts etc with the TV exposure

wonder if it is NO interest from sponsors or Bernadette is asking for TOO MUCH money for that sponsorship
did not notice if other mid major tournaments have sponsors - do they

The SWAC tournament has multiple sponsors, I know that much.

UMass officially gone for hoops anyway. Any news or rumors on a replacement. Hopefully a basketball centric school with a decent tradition in the footprint.
My wish List:
UNC Greensboro
Drexel
Siena
Charleston College

I’m not feeling any of those schools for the A-10. Must of them don’t have anywhere near the resources to compete in our league. Drexel? Two Philly teams are enough.
I believe holding at 14 schools for now is a much better philosophy.

No Drexel. Cof C might be nice. How bout Troy? I might be able to catch a trolley from Panama City to Dothan and then another trolley to Troy.
